Welcome to Brooklyn Jews, in our fifth year of building new Jewish community. Our participants take the lead in social programming, Shabbat celebration, social action projects, and Jewish learning.
Brooklyn Jews offers free High Holy Day services and we can’t do this without the help from our generous community. Your charitable donation will enable us to continue this wonderful tradition.
Our next Shabbat Services will be held on 1/29/10 at 7:00PM at congregation Beth Elohim
Tu B'Shvat Seder
Tu B'Shvat, the New Year of the Trees, celebrates the time when the sap of the tree starts its ascent up from the roots. Join us for a taste of divine sustainability as we explore the connections between Jewish practice, ecology, and food. The evening will include a mindful seder, with food, wine, meditation, and text-study. The night will close with a spicy havdalah ceremony.
January 30, 2010 6:00 p.m.
